October 2002 I read an article in the National Geographic Adventure magazine about a 200 mile hut to hut mountain bike trip from Telluride to Moab, when I told my friend Joe who is a avid mountain biker and one of my adventure buddies he was all for it,since the cabins accommodate around eight we decided to find as many friends as we could,this took awhile but by June of 04 we were ready to go.
